Mike Cherepko has pursued delinquent taxpayers to protect homeowners who pay on time and he created the Rebuilding Together grant program to help residents with roof and sidewalk repairs.

As mayor, Mike focused on revitalizing neighborhoods, improving public safety, and holding property owners accountable to protect residents' quality of life. He understands the important role a district judge plays in resolving disputes, enforcing codes, and addressing landlord-tenant issues that directly impact the community. He believes a magistrate should be fair, engaged, and responsive to the needs of local residents.

Mike brings a strong sense of justice and a thoughtful approach to decision-making. His experience across education, government, and leadership has prepared him to serve with integrity and impartiality. As District Judge, he will continue putting McKeesport first — protecting residents’ rights and ensuring every person is treated fairly under the law.
